BBC Live World Snooker Championship Coverage: 17th April, First Day
The World Snooker Championship live coverage will begin on the BBC on the 17th of April 2010. It will be available between 10:00am and 23:00pm via the BBC red button and online. The coverage on BBC Two will be shown between 14:00pm and 17:00pm, then at 19:15 to 20:00. The days snooker highlights, commentary and discussion will be shown from midnight until 2:50am, again on BBC Two.
BBC Snooker Presenters
The BBC presenters for the 2010 World Snooker Championship will be Hazel Irvine and Rishi Persad. John Parrott and Steve Davis will be joining but Steve Davis qualified for the finals and as usual will balance his presenting schedule with his playing schedule.
BBC Snooker Commentary
The commentary for the World Snooker Championship will be from Dennis Taylor, John Virgo, Willie Thorne, Neal Foulds, Terry Griffiths, Ken Doherty and Clive Everton. Doherty has also qualified for the finals and will no doubt be hoping to spend more time with his cue than a microphone.
