The BetFred World Snooker Championship is due to begin in just a weeks time on Saturday the 17th of April. The highly anticipated event will feature some legends of the game such as Ronnie O’Sullivan and Stephen Hendry as well as some fresh young talent who have been making waves on the World Snooker scene, particularly young Chinese players Zhang Anda and Liang Wenbo. The first day will kick off with 5 matches the majority of which will be concluded the following day on the 18th.
